As the studio winds down and we're trying to get all the last minutes things done on our todo list this week, it's so easy to get stressed out. We sometimes forget to breathe and rather than enjoying the time we have in front of us, it silently passes us and next thing you know, it's already 2018. This is a really good time to stop, sit back, and appreciate what we have and what we've done at the studio. We appreciate the fruits of our labor, the new experiences we've encountered, the memories we've created, and the family and friends we've cultivated. We take our learning experiences, the good, the bad, the ugly and let these lessons enrich our lives for the new year. So sit back, sip your coffee or tea, allow your thoughts to go wild, maybe even write it down in a notepad, and savor 2017!

So we went back and forth on whether to start a blog at the Q Ballroom. I asked myself, why start a blog? What interesting things can we write about and will anyone read this stuff? There's already social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, yada, yada, yada, where it's easy to just publish your thoughts to your friends and family. The problem is, these platforms are flooded with so much information and random thoughts that's it's become a questionable resource in making life easier. We want to target our own audience and give our community better resource and information about our dance world like what's going on in and around the studio, tips and tricks, why we do things the way we do things, competition stuff, who's who, etc. Well, I'll stop ranting and get started on the good information moving forward. Let us know if you would like to see any topics or have any questions. This is the place to do it! Happy Dancing!
